Sean Park
Founder

Sean is Founder, Chairman and Chief Investment Officer at Anthemis. He combines a powerful mix of entrepreneurial, investment and corporate experience and is widely recognized as a leading independent thinker on the future of financial services, informed by his many years as a senior executive in capital markets and investment banking.
He is the author of The Park Paradigm and, serving as a non-executive director on the board of a number of high growth companies, Sean has a proven track record of successfully investing in and advising innovative and disruptive startups.
A founding investor in innovative companies such as Betfair, The Climate Corporation (formerly WeatherBill), Markit and an early investor in Zoopla, before founding Anthemis Group, Sean was part of the Global Markets Management Committee at Dresdner Kleinwort where he ran a number of businesses including their groundbreaking digital markets initiative. He was instrumental in driving the introduction and adoption of electronic book building in the European fixed income markets in early 2000s and authored the seminal “AmazonBay” video exploring the future of finance in 2005.
Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Sean has a bachelor’s in materials science from Rice University in Houston, Texas. He is now based in Geneva and refuses to give up on his dream of one day skiing in the Olympics.

Amy Nauiokas
Founder

Amy Nauiokas is Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Anthemis, the leading digital financial services investment firm, and Founder and CEO of Archer Gray, a media production, finance and investment company. She is a visionary executive, investor, producer and a recognized leader in innovation, strategy and management across a variety of markets and industries.
As a venture capitalist, Amy identifies and invests in early stage technology companies focused on the disruption of media, financial services and marketplaces. She has built a strong investment portfolio of best-in-class, high growth companies. Current investments include Flo Technologies, Betterment, Trov, Happy Money and Currencycloud. Her exits include Zoopla, the UK’s leading property research website; Fidor Bank, acquired by BPCE in 2016; Simple, acquired by BBVA in 2014; and The Climate Corporation, acquired by Monsanto in 2013.
Amy was previously CEO and Managing Director of Barclays Stockbrokers, the UK’s largest electronic retail broker with £10 billion assets under management, where she successfully transformed the business from a share-dealing service into a multi-product, global financial services portal, growing revenue 40 per cent in under two years. She joined Barclays Group in 2004. As Head of Electronic Sales and Trading at the investment bank, she was credited for driving significant expansion and adoption of the firm’s electronic products and markets to institutional clients globally.
Before joining Barclays, Amy was Senior Managing Director and Partner at Cantor Fitzgerald. At Cantor, Amy was part of the management team responsible for driving Cantor’s brokerage business online. She helped lead the successful launch of Cantor’s online business eSpeed, Inc., which was later sold to NASDAQ for $750 million. Amy also played a critical role in the company’s rebuilding efforts after September 11, serving as Head of Investor Relations, Global Marketing, Business Development and Human Resources for the firm.
As a producer and media investor with Archer Gray, Amy has achieved considerable commercial and creative success. Her most notable productions and projects include the 2018 Oscar and Golden Globe-nominated Can You Ever Forgive Me?; 2017 Oscar and Golden Globe-nominated 20th Century Women; 2015 Independent Spirit Award-winning The Diary of A Teenage Girl; 2014 critically acclaimed film Mr. Holmes; 2013 Sundance favorite The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete; and the eight-time Tony award-winning Broadway musical Once.
Amy received a master’s in international business from Columbia University, where she has also served as an Adjunct Professor in the business school, and received her BA in International Studies from Dickinson College. In 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 she was listed among the industry’s most powerful dealmakers in Institutional Investor’s Fintech Finance 40. Other awards include Variety’s Dealmakers Elite New York in 2018, Variety’s Women of Impact in 2016, The Memo’s 16 Pioneering Women Shaking Up Digital Finance, Financial News’ Top 100 Rising Stars, Forbes’ 40 Under Forty: Ones to Watch and Global Finance’s Top 20 Women in Wealth Management.
She is currently a board member of Flo Technologies, Matic, Arthena and Inked Brands and serves on the Fast Company Impact Council. In 2010 Amy co-founded Bubble Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that partners with New York City schools to promote healthy living through wellness education. Bubble merged with Edible Schoolyard in 2018, where Amy serves as a board member. Amy has also served as International Board Chair of Make-A-Wish® and is a member of the Dickinson College Board of Trustees.

Yann Ranchere
Partner

Yann is a Partner at Anthemis Group. With international experience in a broad range of financial services, Yann brings in-depth knowledge of the trends shaping innovation in the industry as well as the startups transforming the landscape. He has over seven years of early stage investing experience, having been part of the Anthemis investment team since 2011, and has co-led many of the investments which Anthemis has made to date.
Prior to joining Anthemis, Yann worked as a consultant at Kurt Salmon in New York in various sectors: retail banking, private banking, capital markets, custody and fund administration, and led the financial services innovation activity in the US. He has previously worked in Luxembourg and France.
Yann has a master’s degree from the French business school ESCP Europe.

Natalia Von Esebeck
Legal Counsel

Natalia is the Legal Counsel to Anthemis Group, with responsibility for overseeing all legal aspects of the business. Prior to joining Anthemis, Natalia trained at a city law firm where, on qualifying, she joined the corporate and commercial department advising clients on initial public offerings, corporate mergers and acquisitions, investment matters and shareholder related issues. She also advised clients on general commercial and intellectual property matters.
Natalia has a BA (Hons) in Classical Studies from the University of Bristol and an LLB from The University of Law (formerly The College of Law, London). Outside work, Natalia enjoys skiing, traveling and baking. She regularly keeps the office supplied with sweet treats.

Iason Nikolakis
Managing Director

Iason is a Managing Director at Anthemis, leading in the discovery, evaluation and execution of investments. Prior to joining the firm, he was an assistant trader at the foreign exchange and derivatives desks at the Treasury of the National Bank of Greece, the oldest and largest financial group in the country.
Iason received a BSc in Economics from University of Ioannina and a MSc in investment management from Cass Business School. He speaks Greek, English and French. He is passionate about football and, one day, would like to go on an extended tour of Latin America.
